One seamless surface, two engineered layers
Pour-in-place (PIP) is a unitary rubber safety surface mixed and troweled right on your site — no seams, no loose fill to rake or replace.
It's built from two layers: a cushion base of recycled rubber that absorbs impact, topped by a colored EPDM wear layer bound with polyurethane for a smooth, durable, UV-stable finish. The result drains freely, cleans easily, and stays put for years.
Because it's poured to a set thickness, we can dial the exact cushioning your equipment's fall height requires — something loose materials can't guarantee once they shift and compress.

How much does pour-in-place cost?
Because every project is poured to your space, design, and fall-height requirements, PIP is quoted per project rather than sold online. Send us your dimensions and equipment details and we'll prepare a clear quote.
How thick does the surface need to be?
Thickness is set by the critical fall height of your equipment — taller equipment needs a deeper cushion layer. We'll calculate the exact build for your ASTM F1292 requirement.
Is it safe and accessible?
Yes. Poured rubber provides uniform impact protection and a smooth, level, ADA-accessible surface that's ideal for wheelchairs and strollers. IPEMA-certified systems are independently validated.
How long does it last?
A properly installed and maintained poured surface lasts for many years — far longer than loose fill — with no raking or annual replenishment.
Can we choose custom colors or add a logo?
Absolutely. PIP comes in a wide range of colors and can incorporate borders, patterns, shapes, games, and logos poured right into the surface.
Do you install, or is it DIY?
We offer both options. Our team can handle the complete installation — including base preparation, both layers, and final inspection — for a play-ready surface without the guesswork. We're also working toward offering complete kits for customers who want to take the DIY route.
